The course package provides a general introduction to psychology as a science. You will go through and discuss central problems, theories, methods and results in cognitive neuroscience, social psychology and developmental psychology. You get examples of different theoretical approaches and scientific methods and their application. Theory and literature reading are combined with various applied elements.

Psychology I – Course Package is a good start if you want to build your own education with a focus on psychology. But the course package is also a good complement in a bachelor's degree with a different major.

Out in working life, there is a demand for psychological knowledge in many different areas, for example recruitment, rehabilitation, health care, school and education, the sports world, organizational development and personnel administration.

This course package is mainly taught in Swedish and you will find more information on the corresponding page in Swedish.

The course package comprises the following courses.
