Scandinavian Languages - Bachelor's Thesis

This course in Scandinavian Languages requires well-documented, high proficiency in Swedish.

Scandinavian Languages covers both modern and historical languages of the region, including Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Icelandic, and Faroese. At Stockholm University, teaching includes language skills in modern Danish and Norwegian, and historical studies such as Old Swedish, runology, and manuscript reading. Research focuses on older texts, written language practices, and translation. Degrees are offered at bachelor’s and master’s levels. Instruction is in Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian.
