Greek - Epic and Lyric Poetry

This course broadens and deepens the knowledge of ancient Greek literature through reading central works from the classical and post-classical period, such as Homer, Hesiod, Apollonius Rhodius, Theocritus or from the rich treasure of epigrammatic poetry.

One longer or two shorter scientific articles on any chosen aspect of Greek epic or lyric poetry are presented by the student in the form of an oral or written report.English available.
