Advanced Korean I

The course consists of the first semester of Korean language studies on an advanced level.

The course aims to prepare the student for academic work with Korean source material within the area of studies of the degree project (Master's thesis). The texts are studied thoroughly with the assistance of Korean Encyclopaedia and reference material, and the student is trained in independently searching for information inKorean academic literature. The emphasis is on understanding complicated sentences, academic phrases, compounds and expressions in academic texts.

 



Teaching Format

Instruction is given in the form of lectures and seminars.

Assessment

The course is examined on the basis of 3-4 written assignments.
