Cinema Studies- Master’s (120 credits) course
The student writes a degree project comprising 30 credits in agrrement with the supervisor. The degree project is an independent research task, the planning and implementation of which must demonstrate the ability to critically and creatively identify and formulate a question in dialogue with the research in the field.
The degree project provides practice in preparing a defined research project from original idea, choice of methodology to finished research report and is preparatory for postgraduate education.
The teaching consists of essay seminars and tutoring, individually and in groups. All teaching is compulsory.
The teaching is given in English.
The course is examined through
- a written thesis
- ventilation of the written thesis as well as
- opposition to another student's thesis
