The course explores the ideas and key concepts of several French thinkers who characterise the intellectual landscape in and outside France today (e.g. Barthes, Foucault, Kristeva, Deleuze, Derrida, Onfray...). The humanities are discussed from a transdisciplinary perspective. The seminar discussions will focus on a selection of representative texts in translation.
The course is given at a distance, i.e. the lessons and the examination take place online with the help of a video conferencing service. You are expected to attend these lessons actively. The course is given in English.
You are very welcome to apply for the course!
