Finnish – Master's (120 credits) Course

In this course, you will write a degree project for your master's degree. The aim of the course is to further develop your academic writing skills.

The course is useful for all professions and jobs where advanced knowledge of and about the Finnish language, Finnish literature and Finnish culture, as well as advanced skills in academic writing, are required or constitute a competitive advantage.

The course includes the writing of a written degree project. Oral defence of the degree project at a seminar and an oral opposition on another student's degree project are included.

Teaching Format

Teaching takes the form of supervision (individual or group).

Assessment

The course is examined through a degree project, a presentation of the degree project, and opposition to another student's degree project.

Examiner

The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course. We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course, your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course.
Note that the course literature can be changed up to two months before the start of the course.
