Spanish: General and Discourse Linguistics

The course is an introduction to theories and methods in linguistics, pragmatics and discourse analysis applied to spoken and written Spanish.

Throughout the course an insight is given into how languages affect human action and human relationships and how linguistic discourse and interaction is built up. The course is also an orientation about the interplay between the formal structures of language and its expressive and communicative functions.
