Master's (60 credits) Thesis in Multilingualism and Second Language Acquisition

In this course, the student develops knowledge and understanding of theory and method within a subdiscipline of multilingualism, and acquires the ability to independently plan, carry out, and report on a scientific study.

This course is given as an optional course within Master's Programme in Multilingualism and Second Language Acquisition.

Teaching Format

Instruction is given in the form of supervision and thesis seminars. The language of instruction is English.

Assessment

The course is examined on the basis of a written research thesis, defense of one’s own thesis, and discussion and examination of another student's thesis. The language of examination is English.

The written assessment criteria will be published no later than the start of the course.
